Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the TypeMC Minecraft network, the typemc.com website, the Store, and the official Discord server (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, the user ("player", "user", "you") fully accepts these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

1. Description of the Service

TypeMC is a Minecraft network offering custom game modes (Gens and other modes listed in the Game Modes section), a forum, a Store for purchasing optional digital products, and a Discord community.

2. Game Rules

Use of the Service is subject to compliance with the network's Rules, which form an integral part of these Terms. Staff reserve the unquestionable right to apply sanctions (warnings, mutes, temporary or permanent bans) in the event of a Rules violation.

3. Account

The user is responsible for the security of their own Minecraft and Discord accounts used to access the Service. TypeMC is not liable for unauthorized use of an account resulting from the user's negligence in protecting their credentials.

4. Store Purchases

4.1 Nature of the products. The TypeMC Store allows the purchase of digital products (ranks, virtual currency, cosmetics, and similar items) valid exclusively within the Service. Such products have no monetary value outside the network and cannot be exchanged for real money.

4.2 Immediate delivery and waiver of the right of withdrawal. Purchased digital products are normally delivered/activated immediately after payment. By proceeding with a purchase, the user expressly acknowledges and agrees that the digital service is provided immediately and, where permitted by applicable law, consents to the loss of the right of withdrawal once performance has begun, without prejudice to the refund policy voluntarily offered by TypeMC as set out in paragraph 4.3 below.

4.3 Refund policy. Notwithstanding the above, TypeMC offers — at its own discretion and as a courtesy to users, and not as a legal obligation — the possibility of requesting a refund within 14 (fourteen) days of the purchase date. Such a request:

• must be submitted by contacting staff through official channels (email or a Discord ticket);
• will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by staff, who reserve the unquestionable right to accept or reject it based on the reason provided and its reasonableness (for example: accidental purchase, duplicate charge, an unresolved product malfunction);
• is not automatically guaranteed simply because it is submitted within the 14-day period: TypeMC reserves the right to reject requests deemed pretextual, made after substantial use of the purchased product, or insufficiently justified.

4.4 Chargebacks and disputes filed directly with the payment processor or bank. If, instead of contacting staff in accordance with the procedure set out in paragraph 4.3, the user independently and directly initiates a refund, dispute, or chargeback procedure with PayPal, their bank, or their payment network, without first contacting staff, TypeMC will apply the following consequences, regardless of the outcome of the dispute:

• immediate and permanent blacklisting of the account and of all linked accounts (same IP, hardware ID, or other identifiers attributable to the same user) from the entire TypeMC network (all servers and game modes);
• permanent ban from the official Discord server;
• this sanction is final and is not subject to appeal, reversal, or unban, regardless of the outcome of the dispute with the payment processor or bank and of any subsequent requests by the user.

This measure is applied to protect the network from abuse related to unauthorized refunds (so-called "chargeback fraud") and is considered by the user, upon accepting these Terms, to be a reasonable and proportionate consequence of the conduct described.

4.5 Donations. Where purchases are characterized as voluntary donations in support of the project, paragraphs 4.3 and 4.4 remain applicable.

5. User Conduct

The following are prohibited: exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages; using unauthorized third-party software (cheats, hacked clients, x-ray, etc.); engaging in phishing or fraud against other users; sharing offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content; and any other conduct prohibited by the Rules.

6. User-Generated Content

Builds, chat messages, and any other content generated by the user within the Service may be moderated, removed, or made public (e.g., screenshots used as evidence of violations) at staff's discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

The name "TypeMC", the logo, the website, the plugin code, and any other original network asset are the property of TypeMC or its respective licensors. TypeMC is not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TypeMC does not guarantee the continuity or error-free operation of the Service, and is not liable for the loss of game data, virtual items, or accounts resulting from technical malfunctions, maintenance, third-party cyberattacks, or force majeure events.

9. Suspension and Termination

TypeMC reserves the right to suspend or terminate, at any time and at its own discretion, a user's access to the Service if they violate these Terms or the Rules, including the cases set out in paragraph 4.4.

10. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be amended at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or Discord. Continued use of the Service after such changes are published constitutes acceptance of them.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable based on the user's country of residence.
